WebJul 10, 2016 · due to technical problem my MacBook air 2024 retina screen has been replaced by apple. the person who fixed this could not make the lid perfectly aligned with the body and it is about half a milimeter leaning left. It is not effecting the functionality but you feel it when you touch with your fingers. WebMay 31, 2024 · If the macbook pro has to drive both displays then the resolution on the LG side would drop substantially. Closing the lid entirely drops the speed to 5Mbps to 0.5Mbps, download and upload. Incredible! just less than an inch opening solves the problem?! So I hope this helps others: open the lid just a bit but leave your macbook in clamshell mode.
