WebWell I am 25 hours into the game and I must say that it is worth it. Combat is nothing special but this game is a RPG first and your character is a diplomat so the emphasis is on the story and dialogue so if you are looking for something like that you should buy it. Also closest game I can think of like this one is Dragon Age Inquisition.
