Cfmoto overheating
WebJul 12, 2024 · I could feel flow/heating into and out of radiator lines. i drove at higher RPMs in low and never got above 3 bars. likewise with idling and fan running - never went higher than 3 bars. I didn't notice any symptoms with respect to head gasket or oil pressure - so maybe I dodged a bullet. Will advise any future drivers to pay attention to gauges. WebOct 21, 2007 · Hairline micro crack comes to mind, but not sure where yet. If it idles well then temp is controlled crack is closed so no intake of air into the system. If under load, increased pressure, increased circulation, widening of crack (or attachment) air suction intake and overheating with block and overflow.

This controls the fan and is on the radiator. After that check the thermostat and flow rate....and actual coolant level in the radiator. It must be full to the very top. Pulled and swapped fan … WebNov 21, 2024 · Posted on here a few weeks ago about my 850 overheating. Most everyone thought the rad was clogged but it wasn’t. So far I have cleaned the rad thoroughly took the front end off to do so. Check to make sure the impeller is working and circulating water. Changed thermostat. Changed rad cap.

WebFeb 20, 2024 · This is one of the reasons the thermoswitch fails....and when it does... no fan...so not enough radiation of heat and that means over heating. You guys that do a lot of plowing really should have a bypass switch for your fans for this and just to have running to keep the temps down. So, check to see if your fan runs above 3-bars.
